A huge big thank you goes to Henk Swanepoel of Swank Productions for sponsoring and organising this site for the club. The Ballito Photo Club was started in November 2004 with the idea of getting people together who enjoy photography and to learn from each other’s experiences.

We usually meet on the first Friday of each month at JK Dance Studio in Balvista Centre, Ballito at 18h45. We start off with a talk followed by Q&A, we then decide on a subject for the monthly photo project. Everyone is involved in judging the photos so they can learn what to look for and hopefully in this way also learn to take better pictures. When possible we also organise a guest speaker or some type of hands on practical or outing.

If you have never used a camera before or had 40 years experience you are welcome to join us. (No subs or fees just your enthusiasm and input.)
